The new office, inaugurated last August 31, 2021, is bigger and can accommodate more clients compared to its former space which can only entertain less than ten (10) visitors.

Present to grace the inauguration were Regional Director Henry John S. Jalbuena, Mr. Norman Victor M. Ordiz, PESO Managers Association of Southern Leyte (PESOMASOL) President and Engr. Emmanuel Y. Dela Cruz, Biliran Field Office Head.

The SLFO team headed by Chief Marites Z. Viñas were very happy that finally they can now work more effectively given the more conducive and convenient workplace. Ms. Viñas thanked the DOLE-RO8 management for considering their request to move to a bigger office space which will also be beneficial for their clients.

“My sincerest thanks to our DOLE management through RD Jalbuena for approving our request and assisting us on our transfer. With this development, I believe we can improve our services to the clients we ought to serve here in Southern Leyte”, said Viñas.

Director Jalbuena congratulated the SLFO team and urged them to keep the passion for public service burning even amidst the pandemic.

“I would like to congratulate and motivate at the same time our team here in SLFO to continue working passionately despite the challenges we are all experiencing because of the pandemic”, said Jalbuena.

Also in attendance during the event were PESO Managers of Southern Leyte who personally received personal protective equipments (PPEs) from DOLE-RO8.
