In an initial turnover program spearheaded by the city government unit of Catbalogan and DOLE Samar Field Office (SFO) led by Engr. Aleksei Ceasar D. Abellar, over 100 identified PCLs have already received their respective livelihood starter kits. Per approved project proposal a total of 160 PCLs will benefit from the 4.8 million pesos DOLE grant to Catbalogan.

Catbaloganon beneficiaries were thankful for the assistance received and could not help but express their gratitude to DOLE and the LGU through their handwritten poster. They said that the kabuhayan starter kits will really help their families cope with the pandemic.
