DOLE opens applications for CAMP3

Tacloban City – Displaced or temporarily laid-off private sector workers in the areas where Alert Level 3 or higher was declared can now apply for the one-time financial assistance amounting P5,000.00 under the COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program 3 (CAMP3) of the Department of Labor and Employment.

Labor Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III has issued on 20 January 2022 the Department Order No. 232 providing the guidelines for CAMP 3. 

DOLE Region 8 Director Henry John S. Jalbuena informed that affected workers in Eastern Visayas are eligible to apply for CAMP as it falls under the Alert Level 3 category set by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).

 “With Region 8 falling under Alert Level 3, we are calling on our workers eligible for CAMP3 to apply now. Submission is online at”, said Jalbuena.

Aside from the latest payroll or other alternative document such proof of payment of wages or employment contract, applicant establishments in order to avail of the assistance need to submit an online report on temporary closure or permanent closure through the DOLE Establishment Reporting System.

Meanwhile, individual applications must be submitted together with a clear photo of the applicant holding a government-issued ID and duly notarized proof of unemployment such as Notice of Termination or Notice of Temporary Lay-off.

Jalbuena said that the regional office has already received some applications and are now being evaluated.

“While we are waiting for the funds to be downloaded to us, our team here in Region 8 is already into evaluation of applications received”, Jalbuena said.

CAMP3 is a safety net program that provides one-time financial support to affected workers in the formal sector due to COVID-19 pandemic and declaration of Alert Level 3 or higher in various areas in the country starting January 2022. End/NRSC
